I was reading articles about the approximate size of printworks and took some screenshots from google maps to replicate the venue, took the already existing lighting design out of some photosgraphy and put some specials on stage. The process featured some very nice mental breakdowns because of VWX & D3 constantly crashing on my machine, but brought me also a lot of insights & deep knowledge in these software. But I've to say VWX & D3 got much more stable over the year.

The Freshest Poa is a breakdance collective that hosted the National Breakdance Championship at the Ottakringer Brauerei. I had the pleasure of witnessing these incredible dancers while creating the perfect high-energy atmosphere for the event. It’s definitely worth checking out the video!

Witnessing the @thelimitlessorchestra perform is seeing a stage full of passionate, creative musicians who leave their music stands at home.

This was a special project, time constraints and last minute updates were the vibe for this one. Under the Direction of Ferdinando Chefalo, we delivered a unique Light Design for Dubai Opera.

VSVL approached me to handle the operating for Metarave 2024 and oversee the following Ben Böhmer production. My responsibilities included facilitating communication between clients and designing the open-air stage setup for the guest designers.

At the H2 Convention, discussions revolved around the future of hydrogen. I had the opportunity to transform the Tabakfabrik into an atmospheric workspace and networking hub over several days for the Signature Group. The event started with a school class exploring the venue, followed by a day dedicated to professionals from the industry.

Die Wilden Kerle was a truly special production. Together with Franz Tscheck—who soon started calling me his "Operator Queen"—we brought this child-friendly piece to life with a mystical and thrilling atmosphere. It was a joy to see so many children’s eyes light up with excitement.

For this production, the challenge was to create a cohesive lighting sequence without having full visibility into what was happening in all rooms. The piece spanned three indoor spaces and an outdoor area, with stage directions communicated via radio.

It wasn’t always easy to accommodate every request in real time, but in the end, we managed to execute the design smoothly—with enough buffer time to spare.

I had the opportunity to design the lighting for the Sommernachtsball at Kursalon Hübner. I was kindly invited by ALC Eventsolutions to support them on this project.

At Theater an der Wien, the opera "Der Freischütz" was staged and re-imagined using digital camera technology. It was a unique challenge to adapt the stage setup for both the camera and live audience, especially with the stage portal covered with gauze to make room for projections. However, we were able to rise to the challenge and deliver a successful project. The designer, director, and the team at Theater an der Wien were satisfied with my work.

In November 2022, I was responsible for the technical production of the Modus Labelnight, successfully coordinating and communicating with suppliers, artists, management, and venue to make the event happen. The stage design was created in collaboration with Jascha Süss, which contributed to the event's success. The label owners were pleased with the outcome and are excitedly looking forward to the next event.

After the launch of Gluttony in February 2022, an idea for a new lighting concept came to mind. I had already designed the Marx Halle, and it was just waiting for the perfect accompaniment. The intense energy of Gluttony captivated me until the very end, and this inspiration propelled me to program as many details as possible. Now, I am proud to present a completed project.

After listening to BRONSON, the new collaboration between Golden Features and Odesza, I was inspired to create an intro. The rich details in the music provided ample inspiration for my programming.

At the end of 2019, the members of CONNECT came together to establish a social club dedicated to underground music and community building. This project holds a special place in my heart as it is one of my favorites since I began my journey. In this video, I am highlighting one of our COVID-era projects.
